The kitchen (renovated in 2014) is built for a crowd with ample cupboard and prep space, a large refrigerator, and a 48 inch Viking range with double ovens. Upstairs you'll find a cozy sleeping space with 2 twin beds. The basement is split into 2 rooms - one holds 2 more twin beds with an attached full bath, and the other is the Big Red Room, our Cornell-themed game room with a pool table and dartboard. THE GUEST HOUSE The guest house is perfect for kids or a family unit. Bedroom 1 holds bunk beds (2 twin) and a queen bed and bedroom 2 holds a queen bed. The den has seating for the crew, plus a full bathroom. AROUND THE PROPERTY You'll have lots of space for your outdoor enjoyment. We have a Weber barbecue grill on the back porch of the main house, plus outdoor picnic tables. In the yard you'll find a beautiful firepit with outdoor seating. The yard is large and gives you plenty of room for playing catch, kicking a soccer ball, or practicing some chip shots. To get down to the waterfront, you'll cross the railroad tracks that go along the east side of the lake. This is an active railroad, however, seeing trains is quite rare, and when you do, they are very slow and very loud. The few guests we've had who have seen them thought it added even more charm to their vacation. From there you'll head down a set of steps to the landing, our large deck atop the boat house with lots of seats and a gazebo for shade. One more level of stairs takes you to the beach, where you'll find 4 kayaks for your enjoyment, a dock with boat hoist, and a perfect swimming cove that gently slopes into the water. We have given the camp a new lease on life with a rustic modern charm. It was completely renovated in 2016. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. This house has plenty of lake frontage, a dock and a hoist. There is a patio for dining and a campfire pit. There is a bunkhouse that has 2 twin cots. This home provides kitchen, dining and living room, bathroom, one queen bed, one full bed, 2 twin cots (bunk quarters), covered porch picnic area, washer and dryer. There is a yard for tents (you must bring). The camp is located 3.5 miles down a private road with little traffic. The road is very family friendly and is a great place to walk, jog, or ride bicycles. There is plenty of parking! Enjoy the sunsets and evenings around a campfire. At the camp there is a row boat and a paddle boat for use! A pet friendly camp. Long Point State Park is 5 miles north of the property. The town of Aurora is a quaint place a mile beyond Long Point. The town features Mackenzie Childs, the Fargo Bar and Grill, Well's College, and the Aurora Inn. The closest cities are Ithaca and Auburn, NY (approximately 45 minutes away). The Finger Lakes area is known for their winery and cheese trails, plan a day trip to stop at a few! The DeLago Casino is 40 minutes away. Welcome to our happy place. Cayuga Dacha is situated at the north end of stunning Cayuga lake on a large grassy yard with 100 feet of private lakefront. Whether you have a few days or a few weeks, this is the perfect place to call home while you explore the boundless opportunities for fun in the Finger Lakes. Both Cayuga and Seneca Lake wine trails are easily accessible, Ithaca and its gorges are a direct shot south on the historic Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway, and Montezuma Wildlife refuge is only 5 minutes away. There are grocery stores 10 minutes away in Seneca Falls, or in 20 minutes you can be perusing the local flavors at Wegman's in either Geneva or Auburn. This beautiful vacation spot consists of 3 houses on the property with 110' of waterfront on Cayuga Lake and a total 4,708 sq. ft. of space. The homes can sleep 24+ in beds and up to 31 facilitating pullout couches and futons. There is a 75' dock with a sitting area at the end. The water is quite clear and not too deep so it stays relatively warm, great for swimming. There are lots of different sitting areas by the water including three decks, a screened in porch, many chairs, lounge chairs, adirondack chairs, and a swing are by the water with. There are multiple tables and plenty of grass space. There is a fire pit by the water great for evening fires on the lake. We provide a covered boat hoist and there are a number of places on the lake which offer motorized boat rentals.. Provided are two kayaks and a paddle boat and the bass fishing right off the dock is some of the best in the fingerlakes. Also just 10 min. from Bass Pro Shops. Main House: The Main House which has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms is broken up into two spaces. The large space has the main common area which consists of a central kitchen overlooking the lake with granite countertops and all the amenities, an attached dining room which opens into the lake facing living room with large glass windows overlooking the water and a TV. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a sitting area, tv, and full bath overlooking the water, there is also a separate wing with two bedrooms one of which has two custom made adult size bunk beds in it and the second has a full bed. Sharing the same entrance to this house is a one bedroom apartment. This one bedroom has a full bathroom accessible only through the large bedroom, a connected kitchen and living room which open into a spacious screened in porch overlooking the water. Washer & Dryer. A quiet, quaint lakefront cottage located 2 miles in on a private dirt road, great for walking or bike rides. Cottage is on the east side of the lake, close to Aurora, and several wineries and restaurants. This is our vacation paradise. When we are not enjoying it with family and friends we rent it out. We don’t treat it as a rental. It has the quirkiness that comes from being our cottage. We are always changing, adding, updating. Our very first renter still comes back every year and looks for what we changed or added. Our cottage has over 200 feet of level beachfront, small dock, and is on a more secluded part of Cayuga lake. On the east shore so there are amazing sunsets. The cottage itself has one large camp style bedroom with one double bed and two single beds. Has a living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom with shower. The outside features a large wraparound covered porch with lots of seating, and amazing views.
